Sorry about the lack of posts lately, we have been running into some computer issues so it has been harder to get onto the blog. We have been having a really great time our here in Colorado Springs, really starting to feel at home and enjoy the city. Last weekend Allison and I decided to do some touristy type things, so here are some pictures...
Some of you might know that the US Olympic Team headquarters is here in Colorado Springs, so we decided to go tour the place and try to see some celebrities. Learned a lot about the athletes, but didn't see any famous ones. The triathlon competitors were training in the pool, and that was kind of cool to see. Made me think of my old swimming days.
We also went to the Money Museum, but they didn't allow any pictures inside due to security reasons. This picture was taken outside by a large coin press.
The previously mentioned computer problems are related to my laptop,
and the screen not working. So we had to buy a monitor so I can see what
I'm doing. Since we have a monitor, we needed a desk. Since we are
stingy, I decided to build a desk completely out of free pallets that I
can get from work. Allison decided to get artistic with the camera : )
