Pueblo, CO. A surprisingly great town.

This weekend we took a trip down to Pueblo, CO. Which is a smaller town about 45 minutes south of Colorado Springs. We found out that they had a pretty cool corn maze, and naturally we had to stop in at the Pueblo Zoo while we were there. We also had our first Golden Corral experience, and it was fantastic. Endless amounts of delicious food, great service, a chocolate fountain, and cotton candy to-go.

                                                    Lynx or Bobcat?

This animal could have been at the kissing game board at our wedding, anybody know what it is?

I discovered two things things weekend:
a) Allison has a special bond with squirrel monkeys
b) Corn mazes are actually kind of hard if you don't cheat. Especially in 87 degree heat.

We decided to make the most of our gas money down, and stay the night at Pueblo Reservoir State Park. Aside from the guy next to us running his loud generator for a good portion of the night, and the guys on the other side of us playing loud rap music until about 3:00am, it was a very enjoyable time. We decided to get up early and go for a walk, which was definitely a highlight. Some of the best skipping rocks I've ever seen, and some pretty good views too.

This is what makes Colorado "lakes." Otherwise known as Reservoirs.
That's all for now folks! Future adventures to follow : )
